Expressing regret he did not see the recipient on Perfall's return from Cologne, reporting on the success of his Dornröschen, saying that Bischoff will shortly send the recipient the score, noting an important cut he made in the first part before the Cologne performance, so that the work now plays comfortably in a short hour and is suitable for part of a concert, expressing the hope that the Leipzig Gewandhaus will like and perform the work, mentioning [Moritz?] Hauptmann, etc.
